is the loveless anime and manga different?

i watched the anime, but i can’t seem to understand the ending, and i’m just wondering, is the anime completely different to the manga?

It’s not different it just doesn’t go nearly as far as the manga does. They cut it really really really short and cut a couple of parts out. The manga is much better and goes much longer! Hope I helped some.
