Why Kuroshitsuji manga stops at 55 chapter?

Do you know why Kuroshitsuji/Black Butler -the manga- have been stopped at chapter 55?!

Hello there
Kuroshitsuji is a monthly manga, meaning that a new chapter will be released each month, and then they will later be printed together and released as a new volume, first in Japan, and then later in America when they volumes have been translated into English officially (online translations are done by non-professionals). Because the manga is not yet “completed”, there are still chapters that are being released, from now until it is completed.

Since you are at chapter 55, this means that you have caught up to all of the already released chapters, and have to wait for the monthly releases from now on. You’re in luck though, because the next chapter will be released on the 18th (it’s always released on the 18th of a month) and you can read it then when it comes out. So the manga isn’t stopped in the middle, it’s just a work in process still, with more material due to come out
